I congratulate WAKO India Kickboxing Federation who have impressed everyone with its functioning in time. The progress they have shown as a National Sports Federation expresses a sense of responsibility on their shoulders towards the game. I am glad that the current Government has recognized Kickboxing as one of the National Sports Federation after a good show of activities in past several years. Looking at the immense growth, I am extremely honored to be associated with WAKO India Family. The dream which was started from the scratch years back has given us not only a national recognition but it carved a niche at an International Forum today. Our management focuses on their members welfare, the growth of athlete and officials to advance them as India is a youthful country and the interest lies on the nation’s growth and its development, we are a proud Sports Federation who has taken Kickboxing to a different level altogether through inculcating combat education and skills to the learners.

Shri Santosh Kumar Agrawal

President- WAKO India
Member – Technical Committee WAKO

I as a President of WAKO India Kickboxing Federation feel proud when I see the spread of Kickboxing in every part of India from its evolution.

Trust me, it was not an easy process to build the strong roots and the bonding. The way each member of the group has contributed towards the mission and the vision of the organization says it all. I am glad with the growing popularity of the sport, affiliates have joined in from across the country to strengthen the federation and to support and upgrade the Kickboxing standard and earn the status of National Sports Federation.

WAKO India is in its developing phase; every day is a learning process for us – we learn we organize and we execute our plan in our own creatives.

I am grateful to our mentors, patron, seniors and colleagues who have guided us to reach at the place where we are today. My special thanks is for WAKO (IF) who has shown faith in me to discover myself with the best of my abilities but personally, I feel it’s just a beginning of an era and have lot more to serve to our nation in contributing to make an identity at the world level.
